Welcome to

CodeandStuff

A coding and networking community for women and non-binary developers and code newbies in Manchester, with bi-weekly events.

Our Mission

We believe that diversity in tech is really important and to balance the scale we are building a collaborative agile learning community to support more women and non-binary people getting into tech. Our ambition is to show women and non-binary developers and code newbies that anything is possible - and that with a bit of help and confidence they can realise their potential and enjoy a thriving career in tech.

#BalanceforBetter

Learning

We want women and non-binary people to try coding and perhaps they will find that they have a hidden talent because successful coding is about logic.

Empower

We empower women and non-binary people to aspire to a career in tech through mentoring based coding events, talks, workshops and hackathons.

Community

We will link and connect women and non-binary people to tech opportunities and people in tech to provide accessible role models.

Who Are We?

We are all passionate about increasing diversity in tech, mentoring and sharing knowledge.
